Seminar for teachers of the subjects “Politics and Economics” in spring 2025

On April 28-29, 2025, we once again welcomed numerous committed teachers from various regions of Germany to our seminar. In cooperation with the Frankfurt School, we offered practical impulses for teaching economic topics in a lively and well-founded way.

A special highlight this spring was the visit of Eva Grunwald, Managing Director of the Federal Republic of Germany - Finance Agency GmbH, and Mr. Thomas Weinberg, the agency's head trader. In their joint presentation, they gave exciting insights into the financing of the federal government under the title: “How does the state finance itself? A look behind the scenes at the Finance Agency”.

In addition, we presented the teaching materials of the Association of German Banks, which were made available to the participants as practical support for use in the classroom.

Where is the economic journey heading? An overview of economic perspectives

Financial education is close to the heart of Bankenverband Mitte. We are pleased to support teachers in teaching financial topics with this format - for a strong economic education of the young generation.
