Reflections on Monetary Policy Analysis

Bankenverband Mitte e.V., in cooperation with the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, hosted an exclusive guest lecture with Pablo Hernández de Cos. The former Governor of the Central Bank of Spain will be working as General Manager at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) from 1 July 2025.

In his lecture, Pablo Hernández de Cos highlighted the current challenges of monetary policy and its far-reaching effects - both for investors and companies as well as for consumers, who feel the consequences directly in their purchasing power and cost of living. In addition to well-founded economic policy analyses, the event offered an exciting Q&A session with representatives of the financial centre and students.
